Mag. Petra Schiller has been on the TEA board for two years.  She studied English at the University of Vienna and in Boston, MA/USA (Wellesley College and MIT). She has specialized in curriculum design and teaching English to young learners. During the school year of 2005/06 she led a successful pilot project teaching English to Austrian elementary students through a new approach she developed herself. 

Moreover, she used to teach at the University of Vienna Language Center. Currently, Petra teaches at BRG Traun/Upper Austria while she also works on getting her Ph.D.  Furthermore, Petra is also a junior lecturer at the Center for Teacher Education at the University of Vienna.
